Acupuncturist Kayla Lakusta of Banyan Tree Health Ltd. and Melody Young RYT will take you through a unique 90 min workshop focused on relieving the body and mind from the stress, anxiety and tension experienced in everyday life. During this workshop you will be guided through a gentle yin class designed to alleviate the effects of daily stress, as well as assist in decreasing and even eliminating the feelings of fatigue and emotional strain, followed by an acupuncture assisted Yoga Nidra and Savasana. The combination of yoga and acupuncture loosen the fascia and stretch out the shortened muscles so that they can return to a normal resting state. These combined practices create awareness of personal contracted holding patterns and provide enhanced self-care techniques to reduce and eliminate them. Yoga stretches acupuncture meridians throughout the body, which helps regulate the flow that acupuncture strives to restore and maintain.
